Each year R3 members serve as running or cycling guides at the Detroit Free Press Marathon for participants with challenges that make it impossible to compete on their own.
R3 & D&D's Cranksgiving Event to support Gleaner's Food Bank
R3 & D&D's Cranksgiving Event to support Gleaner's Food Bank
For the past 5 years, R3 has supported D&D Bicycles & Hockey's annual Cranksgiving to efforts to collect food during the holidays for Gleaners Food Bank. Over this time period, R3 has helped raise over 100,000 meals donated to area families in need during the holidays.
Cranksgiving is the world's largest pedal powered food drive held in over 80 cities across the country.
Free Bikes for Kidz
Each year R3 members volunteer during the holiday season to participate in the Free Bikes for Kidz program. This program brings volunteers together to sustainably refurbish and furnish bikes to kid-in-need, providing a pathway to health, happiness and opportunity.
